What is the National Development Plan?
The National Development Plan (NDP) is a 20-year blueprint currently in development to shape the Maldives' long-term future. Rooted in national aspirations, it will steer the country toward resilience, equity, and transformative progress.
The formulation of the NDP is a nationally determined, inclusive exercise intended to shape the development trajectory of the country over a twenty-year period, drawing from community voices across all islands.
