Important: All research papers and policy briefs must clearly articulate their connection to national development. This requirement ensures that the knowledge, analysis, and recommendations put forward directly delineate their relevance to issues shaping national development. Contributors must be able to demonstrate the practical and/or policy relevance.
4,000 – 6,000 words (excluding references)
In-depth studies, case study documentation; evidence-based analysis, long-term scenario building, and visionary proposals

Practical recommendations, emerging issues, pilot ideas, or innovative concepts
Designed to encourage contributions from practitioners, youth, and civil society voices
We encourage contributions across all sectors and disciplines, with emphasis on integrated, innovative, and future-ready solutions

Subsequent to a review of your submission, the NDP editorial committee will provide feedback, further guidance and editorial commentary to the selected papers. Authors will be required to make suggested amendments prior to the presentation at the Conference or publication in relation to the NDP.
Your Rights:
There is no limit to the number of papers selected for publication, and the same themes may also be selected for multiple papers. We encourage multiple perspectives on the same issues.
You retain ownership and author rights to your submission. For your reassurance, your work will be returned to you following assessment. This ensures transparency in the process while affirming your rights as the author.
